Persona graph

Due to the pervasively Overlapping community structure, The Ego network minus ego tends to exhibit a distinct Community structure that reveals the multiple Personas that one plays.

This can be formalized with the persona graph. It has been used to obtain multiple “persona embeddings” for nodes in a network. See Epasto2017ego splitting, Epasto2019is, Yoon2021Persona2vec, Choudhary2022PersonaSAGE.
